Is it just me or is WoW...

Really laggy right now? It take 10 mins for the characters selection screen to load, then when I select a character it take 15 minutes for the loading to finish. It make crashing really annoying...

Yeah it's a tech issue atm, they give the usual answer that they are trying to correct it. I crashed 2 times now which is odd for me.

Don't play during US night time. I've no problem to connect after that time.

Were you crashed or dc'ed ? I entered just now ( just to check check ) from a 400++ queue and dc'ed few minuted later. Now I'm stuck in another 300++ queue.

If you have paid for a service you should be able to play any damn time you want. Hopefully its a minor tech issue and the wonderful guys @ WoW can dig into all the money they have made from people standing in 400+ queues and get it fixed ASAP.

Otherwise just come back to the fee free Guildwars with no standing in line.

I'm having plenty of trouble over on Moonrunner. I agree, the problems seem to happen during US night time. I was only experiencing slighty more lag than normal until about 8:30 last night, when I immediately became stuck while casting an instant spell, and couldn't even log out. ALT+F4 worked, but I couldn't log in for the rest of the night. People became perma-dead, since their soul didn't appear after dying.

Also, the horde was handed Stormwind and Ironforge on a silver platter the other day when all alliance NPCs dissapeared.

Horde NPCs dissappeared from UnderCity the other night, and the Alliance were going nuts in there.

Last night I had the worst trouble trading with a guy in UC -- it took forever and about 10 tries to just give him some bags. Then, Luvian and I crashed a few times in Silverpine. It was weird. He would fight and I would lag, stuck in limbo, then I would fight and he would lag. We wewnt back to UC and it seemed to have reset and worked pretty normal the rest of the night.

I think that during prime time hours they just have too many players on. Need more realms.
