Well I'm kind of chugging along, doing stuff, exploring the towns and so on. I was pleased to discover the quick travel option! I find travelling on a horse to be a bit nausea-inducing
![]() Anyway, I'm finding that to do some quests it would be helpful to raise people's dispositions towards me. However, I don't really get how to do it. I think I understand how to do the minigame - click on each of the wedges each round, clicking on the fullest wherever possible or something. But I'm a bit confused. How do I know what people's disposition towards me is? Also, how do I get the most out of the minigame? Obviously my low speechcraft skill is affecting me at the moment but supposing I was okay at speechcraft, how is the best way to play the persuasion game? Thanks!

When you hover your mouse over each of the four segments, you will notice that their facial expressions change, you want to click on the ones that make them happy, when the largest "rotating thing" is in that segment to make them happy, and click on the smallest rotating thing in the ones that make them angry.
It's hard to explain and will take a lot of practice to figure out, but you can't go wrong once you have ![]() Or you could just bribe people ![]() |

Oh! I thought you had to click on each wedge when it was at its fullest. Well that makes more sense. So can you see what people's disposition is towards you or what?

![]() Generally, you can only get your disposition to about 70-80, and if you need to go any higher, it has to be done by bribes ![]() |

Great thanks, Hive!! Some random orc in Skingrad thinks I'm swell now, thanks to you!
![]() It kind of seems like the major factor in whether I'm succeeding or not is my personal skill in figuring out which wedges to click on, rather than my character's speechcraft skill. What's the go with that? Can someone with high speechcraft impress people on wedges that they don't like? Or does it just give you a bigger increase? Hard to tell with orcs what they like and don't like, what with all the teeth!!

lol, the argonians are harder to judge, but yeah, its annoying with Orc's
ANyways, the higher your speechcraft, the slower your disposition decreses whilst in the persuasion minigame thing ![]() And you may get more out o the wedges too, but once again, im not sure. |

The higher your speechcraft, the more gain or less loss when clicking wedges. Add to that the perks which decrease the loss when clicking 'bad' wedges and the fact that an apprentice can get a free rotation of the wedges once per game, and speechcraft has quite the impact on the game. The max disposition is based on your speechcraft as well I think.
The game is too easy I think. I can always get max disposition no matter what my speechcraft is, because you get infinite retries. The idea is just that you click the large wedges when they're at the good persuasions, and the small when they're at the bad ones. And the wedges rotate one quarter after you click, so you can strategically choose which wedges to pick.

If you think the game is too easy change the settings to Hardest.
The game comes set at the default of Normal but you can turn it up or down depending on what you like. I started on the Normal setting but moved it up to hard with my current character. You get better & tougher Enemys to fight they tend to be more hostile and attack much faster & in groups rather than just one at a time. So Crank it up if you think the game is too easy.
