Well, lets just say this a thread spawned from a thread that spawned from a thread.
Anyhow, I just realized that there is a big incongruency in the expansion of Bloodmoon. How did Cancutian Poncitus or however spell his name, the head of the East Empire Company on Solstheim, manage to get a Stahlrim weapon when the only picks available, are from that group of people. And, he has it even before the whole quest thing comes up, let alone those ice pieces are practically unknown. Just a thought here, I think Bethesda has some things to explain here. |

If my Elder Scroll lore knowledge if correct. The empire " conquered " Skyrim too. Skyrim is nord's home country. And it is icy country just like Soltheim. He could have gotten that weapon from there too.
