I just want to know what you ppl think of the Blair Witch Project movies (and i'm quite bored right now ), i saw Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows for some time ago and i couldn't figure out what the producers meant with "Book of Shadows". I saw no book of shadows, i didn't like the movie overall either. BW1 was better, it looked so real and stuff, and it was quite frightening. What do you think about them? Good or bad? Blair Witch 1--the hype surrounding it was great and well manipulated--the actual thing was dire and dissapointing

Blair Witch 2-- after seeing the first I think i'll pass

Blair Witch 1 was a promising concept...too bad it got too over-commercialized and is quite a piece of crap horror movie when divorced from the "trick" premise of it. i personally thought the end was horrible...not scary, and a complete disappointment.

Blair Witch 2 is a movie i had refused to see after my discontent with the first, but i gave it a chance and watched it. guess what? it was not too bad at all...it doesn't follow the whole "reality" premise of the first one, so i think its only fair to judge it as just a horror movie in its own right. in this capacity, i think its one of the better horror movies i have seen in a long time...i think its definitely worth watching once. and i consider it better than its predecessor.

Blair Witch Project was a masterpiece.

BWP2 really sucked and shows what happens when a good idea goes corporate.

Will have to disagree with what appears to be the majority here. Blair Witch Project was perhaps one of the stupidest things I have ever seen, and I include all manner of infomercials, commercials, and home videos in this comparison. I kept laughing at the characters, who could get lost in their own backyards and none of whom ever took up Boy or Girl Scouting, from the look of things. What a joke. We were surprised that the main character's cohorts didn't murder her well before the Blair Witch had a chance to. In the end, we rooted for the nonexistent witch. Oh, and we certainly weren't the only ones in the theater laughing.

This was about as scary as watching people do "shadow bunnies" on the wall.

Blair Witch 2? Can I get my money back on the first one instead??

Blair Witch Project was a novelty. I have no desire to see the second one.

I understood the concept of the Blair Witch filming technique, but it gave a terrible headache watching it.

It really scared my wife, and I'm a "mean" guy, so after we went to bed, I got up to go to the bathroom. I stayed gone a long time, and she called for me. I wouldn't answer. She got up and turned the light on, and I was standing in the corner facing the wall.

She screamed, and I laughed, then she cried, and I slept on the couch...lol.
