on the very back panel of the thing (hexahedron?) in the underdark, where you rub the panels and a guy pops out, a guy popped out. I can't remember his name, but he said that he was looking for his party and that he was imprisoned there by some drow. Does he have to to with any quest? I killed him anyway, was that a mistake?

There are many imprisoned creatures in that big thing. A Githyanki, a Lich, a Mage, and a Svirfneblin, IIRC. All of them are to be killed, except the Svirfneblin, who are connected to a minor, minor quest.

no, I mean the VERY last one on the right, it is hard to find. when you click on it, a friendly thief comes out and asks where his party is. He says that they were fighting some drow, and asks if you have seen them (I think). He also does not turn hostile unless you click "I'll settle this with blood" or something. I don't know if he is part of a quest, or what.

He's not part of a quest. I don't know if he was part of a storyline that never got finished, or what...but he's not necessary to preserve.

I'm with Sazerac, I'm of the opinion that it's another unfinished quest. The guy's name is Gont of Riatavin, but he doesn't mention the Mercenaries of Riatavin in Delosar's Inn in the Bridge District, nor do they say anything when you go back there to tell them you found their friend.

By the way, the leader of the Slaves in the Illithid Dungeon is named Camaris Highcastle of Myratma. I have all these names memorized. Somebody shoot me NOW.......

IIRC there is only 2 Friendly people that come out of the soul thingys... and he is one of them.... so dont kill him... IIRC he doesnt give you anything... but I think you get a little bit of XP for saving him.. and he says thankyou [img]tongue.gif[/img]
