Hello Again,

Maybe same character as before, but I'm told the one character my boss can't kill is named Sarovak.

Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.

Cheers,

You've already asked this.

Just read the tactics from that.

Are you sure it is your boss?

Make sure you attack his goon sidekicks first by themselves and watch out for traps dotted EVERYWHERE around the room. Use lots of magic missles to kill the mage becuase he uses mirror image (but get rid of the minor globe of invunerability first). The ogre fighter isn't too tough, just hit him and HIT HIM HARD.

Actually, the way I did it was to use the wand of monster summoning about 25 times and filled the room with creatures when I was fighting Sarevok. He could kill at maximum 3 creatures a round, so just hit him from long range with bows/crossbows/slings/flying miniature space hamsters called Boo, or use the ever useful magic missle spell. Soon he should die.

Almost every big fight out there uses close to the same strategy, but the one thing I suggest in all major fights is to use all your defensive spells and potions before entering a fight. Make sure you save it before you enter into a big fight and learn from trial and error. What might be a good technique for one might not be for the next person. Don't be afraid to waste potions, wands, or scrolls in a fight. Most people memorize offensive spells and overlook defensive ones. There is probably one spell I use more then any other in a major multi fight called Otiluke's Resilient Sphere. It can be used offensively or defensively better then many realize.

Although this question has been answered many a time, I would just like to agree with Glaivas' strategy.

In every big battle, I always cast: Haste, Defensive Resiliance and Chant.

This makes me virtually indestructable.

You fight Sarevok twice (not including the Prologue). First time is at the Duchal Palace. That battle is actually about taking out hasted dopplegangers though. I'm not sure if it is possible to kill Sarevok at that point, as his death then is not part of the plotline... although I seem to recall at least one post on another board where someone claimed they did. But in any case that would appear to have been a glitch.

If you're talking about the final battle in the Temple of Bhaal in the Undercity, this is a surefire strategy:

1) Keep the party back next to the door.
2) Disarm traps but keep the enemy in the fog of war while so doing.
3) Haste, potion up, cast defensive spells, etc.
4) Summon several gangs of monsters right in front of your party to form a protective barrier.
4) Send boots of speed character up on the RIGHT side, close to the dais but still keeping the enemy in the fog of war. At the edge of the fog of war, near the dais, lob an oil of explosions or firey burning (or if it is a mage who has the spell cast fireball).
6) Run like hell back to the others. Only Semaj and Sarevok will come after you. Tazok and Angelo will just remain up there on the platform with their thumbs up their asses. You're taking advantage of the same weak AI that allows you to pick off any other group of enemies one at a time without the whole group realizing that is happening.
7) Immediately hit Semaj with an arrow of dispelling when he dimension doors next to you; hit Sarevok also with an arrow of dispelling; summon more monsters and put them on Sarevok to keep him good and busy
8) Kill Semaj first, but for both hit them with the most powerful stuff you've got. I used strictly ranged attacks--wands of frost and paralyzation and a variety of magic arrows.

I found him pretty simple.
Have a invisible character (thief for me so I could diarm some traps in the same time) go into Sarevoks line of sight. He will begin talking, but not attack you. run back to the party with the inv character. ONE of Sarevoks thugs will acctually attack; a wizard. Slay him.
Do some monstersummoning to guard you. Take the inv charcter to sarevok again, (I walked by the left side of the room) and try to backstab him. when he can see the thief, visible, run for the party with it. Pray Tazok and Angelo do not see him. Sarevok will follow, just to notice he stands alone against a load of monsters and an angry brother with his friends. Sarevok = dead pretty quickly
