Plumb said he bit the carrier as a joke, and has no history of criminal activity or mental illness, police said.

Plumb was released from the Terrebonne Parish jail after posting $165 bond.

And I agree... I think alcohol must be involved in this one

ROTFL! I just saw this and laughed so hard I had to share it. I mean ...why? Just gotta think he'd had a few too many...or was a few cards shy of a deck!

He said it was a joke? Maybe next time the mailman can do his own joke, and "go postal" LOL.
