Shocked Ice Road Truckers and Axemen... two badass shows!

Second seasons are running, and are great! Imagine riding a superload that weighs 70,000lbs over ice--ocean ice for 150 miles. Anyone here following it?

Great shows--good voice overs/music and the way they edit it too...

I remember the first day I saw Ice Road Truckers... I was with two dear friends, we had indulged quite a bit the night before, nobody wanted to move, and a marathon was on. By seven PM, we felt fantastic. It was perfect.

Then, a few weeks ago, I saw Axe Men. I never thought I'd find myself thinking, "You know what? I think these people should make a saner career choice. What's wrong with ice road trucking?"

I saw a bit of Ice Road Truckers. Unfortunately I didn't like it (sorry). To me it's strange why they put this program on the History Channel. It got nothing to do with history.
