I was looking at a computor store, and they had both BGI and TotSC for $25 (Canadian)...is that a fair deal?

That is pretty good Sir Goulum. I think that is what I paid for mine. You may be able to find it somewhere for 20$. But I think that is about as good as you will get.

That's about average, I think. I got BG and TOTSC together for $20 American. The exchange rate has been hovering around 80 cents American to the Canadian dollar as long as I can remember, so $25 Canadian would be $20 American.

At any rate, if it doesn't cost you an arm or a leg or any major internal organs, it's worth it, because it's really a great game. It may be getting a bit old, now, but it was way before it's time when it came out.

Feel luck that you were able to even find a shop that had the game. I have benn looking for it too. Right now I am using the CD's of my friend, but sometime he would want his CD's back. I could just burn some copies, but I would rather own the game myself (I like to have the covers standing in my bookshelf )

Thanks - I did not think of looking such places Hmm - now I only hope that the local Kvickly (Aalborg) have it.

For a retail store, yes. But if you're not above paying for a used copy of BG, try Amazon.com or even half.com. I recently bought BG2 from half.com for about a 1/3 of the retail price. A used copy, but the CDs weren't badly scratched (hairlines) and still came with manual and game card.

And try to buy BG and TotSC at the same time. I bought my first copy of BG without TotSC, hence the second purchase.
