Ok, on the net now, and its beautiful,lol, the scrolling is perfect, so maybe this Dell/winxp thing is just a heap of crap I deleted the dell folder, the only thing i cant get rid of is the Dell Solution Center which is on the right handside of the start menu, but I couldnt find a bit for it in the start folder in windows.

Yeah floppy first. I have mine set that way by default whenever I upgrade. It takes about 5 seconds longer but I don't mind it.
As for the secure thing, it's fine if you've password protected your bios but if not then it makes no difference. I've been repairing and upgrading computers for a number of years now and to be honest I've probably only seen a handful where the bios is actually protected. |
