I came across this link while searching for something else. Dwile Flonking is apparently some sort of English drinking game that involves everyone consuming mass quantities of alcohol until no one's sober enough to remember if there's a winner.
That was interesting and amusing enough, but they also have a virtual Dwile Flonking game -- see how well you can do My record so far is 1000 points, and I'm sure I'll get outclassed quickly I don't find the game all that amusing, but I'm sure the fact that I'm not currently drinking is responsible... Just thought I'd share...

I was actually looking for a starting point for a story -- here's the first paragraph, and then go from person to person taking the story in the next direction. There's a community short story being developed on that web site as well; it's got some ten additional sections from the opening paragraph, and it's quite interesting.
I'm using the story at my Toastmasters meeting tonight to get everyone to think on their feet. *edit* and I agree that the game is quite boring. But the explanations of what dwile flonking is and how it's been played... those are worth the price of admission [ 07-27-2004, 03:47 PM: Message edited by: Bungleau ]

It seemed a bit complicated for a drinking game.

As far as I can tell, it involves flinging dishrags at people wandering around, and if you miss, you have to drink. Sounds like an 8.5 on the drinking-game scale
Playing it electronically... well, that's another matter
