Does anyone know where I could find a list, or table, of which classes can use which weapons. I know there is one in the manual but I have lost my copy. The main thing I want to find out is which classes can use bows, but a full list would be very useful.
My second question is about changing classes in Shadow Keeper. Is it possible to change between any class? eg. dual class from a sorcerer to a ranger and how would this effect weapon use? Thanks in advance. |

there is a table in the handbook, and if you dont happen to have the book, it should be in the BG folder for viewing with acrobat. OR, you could go to a store, click the person who you want to find out about, and make sure its a regular weapon store that sells it all, and if its red'd out to that person, they cant use it..like a bow would be red to a mage, or a 2hsword would be red to a cleric.
as per bows, only fighter types can use compound bows, and only bards and thiefs can use short bows, and bards can use regular long bows but not composite ehhhhhh, duel classing should mean that you can use any weapon useable by either clas, once you hit the leval to where your other class comes back, but some classes cant be duel classed, i think rangers are one of them |

if you lost your manual it's also in the main game folder in .pdf format.
or you can just create a character and see which prificiencies you can choose. as for dual/multi-class characters - I think you can't create 'illegal' dualclass combinations with shadowkeeper, other than assigning kits to your second class. and as for weapons - you can use weapons available to either class, but there are exceptions. dual/multi-classed clerics and druids can only use weapons available to the cleric or druid class. so a dual-class fighter/cleric can only use blunt weapons for example. |

I tried to create a ranger/shapeshifter for ages with ShadowKeeper ( I wanted some type of Druid that could fire a bow), but realised it is not possible so had to settle for a fighter/shapeshifter. I was trying to recreate an old character from a different game and ended up having to make my own bow and arrows (using Infinity Engine Editor Pro) that could be used by a druid.
Thanks for all the info. |
