/)eathkiller, do you draw with a pencil and paper? just curious. if you do, id love to see what they look like .

Azred, wow, you forgot your !
What i normally do is make notebooks (Or fill texbooks) with rough pencil sketches done in pencil... if i can't find a pencil then i use any writing utencil I can find, even human blood will do...

I don't like brushes though... unless they're digital....

anyway... after roughing up a sketch i pick out the lines that are best and i highlight them with pen (if the roughtness isn't already pen) I then take the outline and either use it as a model or I scan it. Sometimes i have to draw something but i'm too lazy to draw it well, if that is the case I always do it super deformed... like this note I did for the character, Kai, in my new story: "Llacefran: Heart of the world"
Yeah he's super deformed and surrounded with notes in kanji, i write in kanji so that no soul in about 5000 miles distance around me can read what I write (usually it's just junk like "Raise cheek bones, shrink the damn head. rotate your tires, Burn 6 CDs... OH GOD I have to burn 6 CDs!!!!" NO really I just remembered... I have to LOL... um where was I? oh right... Most of the time though, i just like doing CG work and making stuff up as I go along is always fun, Rough sketch is possible in photoshop too you know

Here's an example of a sketch i took and scanned and then did nothing but color in Photoshop a while ago...

oh and by the way David: I was just kidding when I said i'd give you a disk of my "work" LOL

aww what's with the look of dissapointment on your face?

oh, in that case, give it to me
1. I don't have time.
2. My wife is hitting me to make me get off of the "big computer" so that she can work on her Planescape story.
