Some games comes to mind...
Icewind Dale 1&2: Good games but heavy on fighting so they might not be your cup 'o tea. Baldurs Gate 1&2 plus expansion packs: A very good and lengthy RPG series. Top class. Planescape Torment: Thank your lucky stars if you manage to find a copy. The game uses the same game engine as the Icewind Dale and Baldurs Gate, but is very focused on roleplaying and quest solving. One of the best and most interresting RPG's ever made. Deux EX: You should give it a chance, it's a very good game with an excellent plot. Final Fantasy 9: Since you asked about this one. A good game, more solid gameplay than Final Fantasy 8 (if you've played that one), but a bit childish theme. Fallout 1&2: Two very open-ended games that takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. Alot to do and explore. You generally fire guns rather than swing sword here. Excellent games in any case. Arcanum: Shares some similarites with the Fallout games, but the setting is completely different. Almost as open-ended as the Fallout games, while still having plenty of places to explore. An underrated game.

I'll also add in MM9, since you've played 6 through 8. You might also look at Arx Fatalis, which is also kind of fun (although rather linear in some ways).
You might also try something like a peasant game in the MM series, or a different boutique game in W&W... I'm sure there are other variations. You could also wait with the rest of us for Dungeon Lords (DW Bradley's next project).

You can buy Fallout 1/2 and Planescape on Amazon pretty cheap... I might invest in both of them myself

Old game, but if you can ever find Lands of Lore 2, get it! Excellent game.
Also Planescape Torment (if you don't mind a LOT of text to read throughout the game), and of course Baldurs Gate series! I loved the Monkey Island series, played them all, wish they'd make another one. |

If you have the money, I recommend buying a PS2 and a rpg game called, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne.
I'm only trying to help, by the way.

I'd say from what you've said you liked so far you'd probably like.
Vampire (blah blah); Bloodlines, and you can play so many way's, though there is fighting in it you can in most places avoid it entirly.. Dunno about the exploring factor of it myself as I've not got very far.. But here's the nice bit, you don't get XP for killing things.. So lot's of quests to build your XP's, no level's either, just XP's that you spend to improve skill's like Deus Ex..

I'd say people who recommend buying a console just for one game are mad!
Well, if you liked ES3:Morrowind then you may aswell play ES1:Arena and ES2aggerfall. Ok, so they are nothing compared to the third, but since you love it you should try them. Don't have much else to add, other than try out the BG series (and start on BG1, don't skip it because it rocks) IWD might not be to your taste as it is very combat orientated, but still worth a look.

The funny thing is I have loads of RPG games, but I only play Baldur's Gate II and Throne of Bhaal. I would suggest Baldur's Gate series and Planscape: Torment wich is a jewel among FRP/RPG games.
