My favorite thing about Branwen is her script.
(Insert clever quip here) She piles into fights, never seems to get caught standing still while buddy next to her gets whomped, and if you're in a dungeon and tell her to stay put, she refuses to be left behind. A couple minutes later she'll come around the corner and stick right next to you. Three cheers for likeable AI, Rikter |

If a thief has 50% "hide in shadows" value; I think itīs much nothing really. In my party, Imoen now has a value of 107%. I havenīt put any points to pick pockets, because Im for good "all-the-way", and shared the points to other traits so that Imoen has 66% in opening locks, and about 72% in finding traps, and it is working.
There is reason why I havenīt taken anyone along. First, new NPCīs levels and hit points are always too low and second, because of emotional reasons. I canīt kick someone out on the finish line after he/she's done so much for the party. I must be crazy... Iīve about to throw Jaheira out several times, but when I did, I noticed I started to feel bad and reloaded. Yeah, I AM crazy. But happy..

If you're going for the strongest, most versatile party you can get (and I assume you are), then keep Coran, go get Imoen back, and lose Dynaheir. Mages are comparatively very weak in BG1, and you won't need one until the latter half of the game. Get Imoen to at least 65% Stealth before you Dual her, and if you take her to Level 6 or 7, you also have time to give her 100% in another skill, such as Traps or Pockets. Trust me, having a Mage who can Stealth around, cast a spell, and go right back into Stealth is absolute gold. Let's see Dynaheir do THAT.

To Rikter:
You need to change her AI script, she's on the setting that makes her stay close to the party leader, iI thinks it's 'cleric defensive', there's another one, maybe 'cleric passive' - I'm not sure - that you need to use. |

personaly i think you should keep as many mages or mage combos (no special class mages just plain mages) in your party as posible spells such as improved invisablity or dimsion door and sometimes minor globe of invunrbility are a huge help in the game
