I agree. Cavalier. The advantages seem to outweigh the disadvantages - diminishes the character not one bit. My own Paladin from BG1 had no missile proficiencies anyway, so perhaps I am biased... but who needs a bow when you have the best blade in the game?

Inquisitor, its dispel magic (dubble the level) are unbeatable, a room full of mages or a lich are no longer a problem . One cast of this baby and magic exists no more , just pick up your favorite slaughter-tool and show the world how weak unproteced mageflesh is

Undead Hunter, Definitely. Immune to level drain and Hold is incredibly usedful, and the bonuses help a lot aswell. How many dagons are there in the game? 4 or 5. How many demons? maybe just over 50 (but probably less). How many Undead are there in the game? Well over 200!
