Snopes says nope...
http://www.snopes.com/photos/bigcat.asp From the article: According to the Ottawa Citizen, the picture actually shows an Edmonds, Washington, man named Cordell Hauglie and his cat Jumper, and the photo was manipulated with PhotoShop to create the effect of a feline of much larger-than-ordinary size

HAHA! That picture is so funny, yet so fake. Hmmm, the cat is definately "stuck" in his hands.

A cat that big would be very heavy and I see that man can carry it effortless.

if you look at the bottom of the cat you can see the pixles are off on it, the underneath should be darker considering the way it is postioned to the rest of the light... so yeah it is fake

FAKE!!! I looked all over Snopes.com and couldnt find it but I know it's fake! The cat's tail is too short and the pixels around it are blurred to hide the fact that it was digitally palced in the image. The blurring is almost always proof that the image has been edited. I used to do it a lot but now I know about the marvels of glowing edges
Now if you want something real big, get a load of the size of this burger! [ 09-15-2004, 07:58 PM: Message edited by: /)eathKiller ] |
