Yes, you can--I've done it. Of course, that was the unpatched version, but I doubt installing the patch would have imposed such a restriction.

Yowch. Um, I suppose you could still manage it by really booting Anomen, and then using the CLUAConsole to play with the AnomenRomanceActive variable. On this point, though, you should ask someone more CLUA-Romance-knowledgeable than I.
