As mentioned before the best way to kill him is to cast scrolls of prot from magic on your fighters and use ring of the ram on him. I found out that Slayer can't be imprisoned as well as berserked chars.

But remember, do not, and I repeat, do not use Protection from Undead on yourself when fighting Kangaxx if you have the Tactics Mod installed. This will upset him, your protection will be instantly negated, and then he'll bombard you with more spells.

I haven't fighting with this one but if you have time try 'providing' him with haekashars (I'm not sure about the name - 7th lvl spell summon haekashar) and something that is in resilient sphere (4th or 5th spell). The question is can he imprison something that is in this sphere. If he can't let him imprison the nothing and meanwhile cath him wiht something like Keldorn with the +5 sword taken from the red dragon. Keldorn can do true sight what removes any illusion/phanatism spells like invisibility or SIMULACRUM or shadow door etc. things that the mages use to have fun with you and while all this happens use ray of reversal, warding whip, pierce shield on the lich - these help him die fast. For quick lowering his resistance use priest scroll Magic Resistance. Try 'harm' him. Watch your log carefully - what he does. One thing for sure when I face him I'll post my battle. This lich sounds like fun and the others are boring.

A few useful non-spoiler tips:

LICH: Immune to all Normal weapons. Immune to all spells in Levels 1 through 5 (the Lich's protections can still be brought down, you just can't hurt the Lich itself with low-level spells.)

DEMILICH: Immune to all weapons of less than +4 enchantment. Immune to all spells in Levels 1 through 9.
