You're right there, Campino my friend. Sarevok gave me a lot of trouble before I found the 'easy way'

I found that when I had a stealthed or invisible character approach the dais (even when wearing the worthless so-called cloak of non-detection) it initiated dialogue and I subsequently got rushed by all four of them--then I got the living daylights beaten out of me with that stinking cloud and 'tatoo of power'. Did you keep the party back at the end of the room, initiate dialogue, and draw them back to you and backstab that way?

yeah, that happens. What makes the sarevok fight easy is basically making tons of skulltraps and glyphs of warding, then monsters. Sarevok will charge, get clobbered by the skulltraps and glyphys, then the monsters rush in. VERY COOL.

I like that idea of using skulltraps and glyphs of warding! From a roleplaying perspective it is hard to imagine getting away with something like that, but from the standpoint of sheer fun, absolutely. Neat. I have never used those spells except just to test them out in practice. I will try that, sounds like fun.

I kept the party back and did it all on my own. Sarevok initiated dialogue but didn't attack as I was still invisible. I then did what I described and it worked like a dream.

I rather liked the "fight" of the bandit camp. My guy is a ranger of course, and he just stealthed and picked off bandits one by one with his bow. Wasn't necessarily hard, but was really fun.

I thought the fight outside Sreaoks temple was entertaining, it took me a couple of attempts and different tactics to finish them off, also Sarevok of course, Iron Throne HQ and outside Cloakwood Mines

That fight before Saz's temple, I missed!!!

I just got my whole party around them without fighting...made the last battle easier.

I liked the Durlag's Tower fight, it was very hard.

I think my fave fights are when you just stumble across groups in the wild. I dunno why, just fun.
