The adventures of two brothers (Aragorn and Darius)

There was no time for mourning in Aragorn's mind. He had to continue his path. He met a wizard named Mekrath and did a small task for him. After obtaining the mirror he searched the room which was once owned by Mekrath. And there he found the Rod of Resurrection. He then decided to use it on his brother and bring him back to life.

Darius felt strange because he was dead and alive again. After short reunion he picked his equipment and the two brothers continued their path once again. Exploration of the remaining part of the dungeon led them to the person they were seeking for - Hear'Dalis. Haer'Dalis requested if they could bring him a gem that he loved very much. Darius was the man for this task with all his protections and immunities.

Aragorn then that he and his brother should try to make contact with The Shadow Thieves. It was only a matter of time finding them. And they did find them. The leader of the guild ordered both brothers to do some minor quests for the guild. They had no choice but to do it.


It appeared that The Shadows Thieves were in war with another guild - Vampire guild. This mission was important but Aragorn and Darius weren't obligated with time and since they weren't experienced enough to deal with such creatures of the night they put this mission on hold.

The Planar Prison
After Darius successfully obtained Haer'Dalis's gem he and Aragorn returned to the Five Flagons Inn. Once there Haer'Dalis was grateful for what Aragorn and Darius have done for him. But he had one last wish. He quickly explained to both brothers that he is not from this world but from another one. While Haer'Dalis and his friends were trying to open a portal which they did successfully some assassins and bounty hunters appeared and captured Haer'Dalis and his friends. Once again Aragorn and Darius were obligated to save them by their hearts.

before entering the portal first enemies attacked.

Battle was tough but Aragorn and Darius prevailed in the end.

With the first group of enemies behind them, they didn't stop but moved along the road.

The next group was a little harder but still nothing big happened. The same fighting strategy was used just like always. Then the Thrall Master was to be killed. Now this beast opposed a really big threat to both brothers so help was summoned but the poor skeletons got killed in a matter of seconds.

While Aragorn was trying to hit Thrall Master, Darius was smart enough to stay behind and helped with Magic Missiles. Soon the big beast fell on the floor.


The only thing left in this quest was The Warden. After summoning Air Elemental, Skeleton Warriors a Djinni and numerous buffs (Stoneskins, Free Action, Mirror Image, Resist Fear) and attacking spells (Web, Greater Malison, CloudKill and FireBall, Insect Plague) he was dead. Warden and not his Mislead illusion.

The only thing left was to rescue Haer'Dalis and his friends. Then they all left the Planar Prison.

Nalia and her castle
After a good night sleep in The Five Glagons Inn Aragon and Darius left the city and went towards nature. After a few days journey they came across a castle which they have been looking for. Barricades around it were a sign that something is wrong with it. Just a little bit aside from the castle they gound Nalia De'Arnise - a noble girl. She told the two brothers that her keep has beem invaded by various Trolls. She also gave them a little hint how to confront these malicious creatures - they were to find a way through a secret entrance. Once inside, Darius and Aragorn confronted the first troll.

With the first enemy hitting the floor, the two brothers continued their way through the fortress. Soon the first floor was cleared and they were off to the second floor. Yet again trolls were all over the place. The battles were not that hard. With some proper buffing they were all dead. Aragorn then found some secret doors which led to Glacias.

With his dead Aragorn gained possession of a flail head.
With that done, Aragorn attacked the Golems and got the second head of the flail.

The only thing left was the basement. In the first room trolls got killed very quickly. In the second room there were many Umber Hoolks to kill. First Aragorn hid into shadows and took the dog stew which he made some time earlier to a room. Umber Hoolks went and ate it. Then Aragorn lured them back into the room and with some help of Darius' they were all dead too.



The final thing to do was to kill the troll leader - Tor'Gal and his goons. Aragorn and Darius rested.

Then buffing started.
Darius was casting Webs like crazy but Aragorn had nothing to worry about since he was protected with Free Action.




Tor'Gal finally died.

The last thing to do was to kill Tor'Gal's helpers. As one might expect there were lots of them - all Yuan Ti Mages. Similar tactic was used - lots of Webs, Free Action and FireBalls.







Aragorn then finally construtcted the Flail of the Ages.


With the castle saved Nalia thanked them and brothers were on their way.

Helping the people of Trademeet - Druid Grove
After a good and long sleep in an Inn, Darius mentioned to Aragorn that they are still in debt with the people of Trademeet. Both helped them once already but one thing was till to be solved. The mayor of Trademeet told them about troubles in Druid Grove and that not everything is at it's supposed to be down there. They said that mayor has nothing to worry about and that they shall solve the problem ...

... after the long walking was behind them they finally reached the Druid Grove. The place was pretty much deserted. Only a gazillion of trolls and other creatures were there. The first opponents - trolls and spiders were pretty much a walk in the park. The first difficult battle involved druids. With some buffing (Ironskins, Free Action, Chaotic Commands, Protection from Fire ...) Aragorn went straight into battle.





With the shadow druids dead things were looking brighter for Druid Grove. Next group of enemies to kill were trolls again. They were staying in the Troll Cave. Again Webs, Free Action and FireBalls were used to get them eating the dust. Battling through some more enemies which included trolls and some mushrooms and another group of druids they finally went to meet Cernd. Aragorn told him about Faldorn the learder of the Shadow Druids. Cernd challenged her and killed her.
Brothers returned to Trademeet as heroes.

The hunt for Irenicus: searching Imoen
With smaller quests behind them Darius and Aragorn felt it's time to go seek Imoen. Since the payment has already been arranged Aran Livnail the leader of The Shadow Thieves Guild has proven trustworthy and one of his co-workers Saemon Havarian offerd a ship to guarantee that the voyage will be taken by ship. After days on the sea both brothers (along with the crew) were taken to Brynnlaw where an Asylum called Spellhold was located. As the two brothers finally stepped on dry land once again they did not know what to expect. They were afterall on an unknown territory. But surprise came quickly. Saemon turned out to be a traitor. Vampires attacked both brothers and meanwhile Saemon ran away. Vampires were killed very fast, becuase Aragorn was wielding Mace of Disruption +2 at the time. With the quests involving Perth The Adept, Pirate King, lady Galvena, liberating Ginia etc. Aragorn and Darius entered Spellhold with a little help of Perth's Wardstone ...

The Hunt for Irenicus: Spellhold
At the arrival a mage which strangely sounded just like Irenicus greeted both brothers showing them residents of the Spellhold. Aragorn had once of his nightmares again, dreaming of Imoen and Bhaal. But these dreams weren't just dreams as usual. Why? Aragorn lost one of his stats. At the same moment Aragorn and Darius were taken to a maze beneath Spellhold.

The hunt for Irenicus: the Maze beneath Spellhod
With Irenicus babbling finished, Bodhi greeted both brothers and welcomed them to her little gauntled. With Bodi gone the two brothers could not belive their eyes. After a long time without Imoen they were all reunited again. All were very happy but it was not a time to celebrate - they had to find their way out of the gauntlet. Slowly they explored each corner of it - slowly. Not many tough enemies were in the gauntlet which was surprising. But there was one enemy who is not easily defeated. A Lich. Battle spells were casted:

With lots of patience and hitting him with Mace of Disruption +2 he was dead. With that behind them the upper part of the gauntlet was done. They went on the lower part of it. On the other level they have encountered Lonk the Sane and convinced him and other crazy people to help them kill Irenicus once and for all. Things went pretty good but as always Irenicus was one step ahead of them. He ran away.

After this it was soon all over. Saemon Havarian appeared again and offered help to Darius, Imoen and Aragorn. Aragorn decided to trust Seamon and they went on another voyage.
