Yes, a baby really does show up. There's a catch tho- you apparently have to have the game on for a certain amount of time, real time, before it shows up. The problem is that the "I'm pregnant, let's keep it quiet" dialogue usually occurs when you defeat the Ravager (last test in hell, I dunno if it happens other times). You then must have something like a minimum of 10 hours in the game (real time not game time). (BTW, I'm not sure if that's the dialogue, but it should be it, otherwise there's another one I'm not remembering). The problem is that after the Ravager most people go straight into fighting Melissan, and thus never have the baby. IF you do, it'll probably show up while fighting melissan (damned inconvenient timing). So try leaving it on pause overnight or all day and see if that'll doing anything.

So you have figured out Black Isles Secret,
Baldur's Gate III Son of Bhaal Spawn, to be out
Christmas 2002 or just after if the team can get
it together the story takes place 20 years after
ToB. Its only on paper now but we will see.

Well, it cannot be somewhat if ever theythink of it... I mean, two out of three women will have babies, and how are you gonna think of that? Then if that wasn't the end thy put in BG2, why add on it and make it more silly?

That's not true I had the 'I'm pregnant yadda yadda yadda lets call it Quayle' chat before getting to Sendai's enclave or Abizigail's lair. I think the dialogue is probably real time related like the romance in BG2.

I'd love to tell you more but I had to format my hard drive soon after that-goodbye 80 characters and all the patches for BG2 and ToB. Oh well that 40th level thief's easy to replace.

yes she does get a baby. but all it does is take up space. its very annoy. how about editing the baby item to make it useable. or turn the baby into an npc/pc to wander aroung and get in your way?

Aerie's Baby
--------

Can be used infinitely to cast Baby Wail. Enemies within a 30' radius must save versus spells or become deaf for 5 rounds. Note that after using a Baby Wail, Aerie will become fatigued because the baby must be fed. If Aerie is not in the party, a random female will be chosen. If there are no females, the baby will then die.

Once a day, baby can be used to make 5 Dirty Diapers. D.Diapers are classified as a Dart weapon type. Enemies hit by a D.Diaper must save versus death or become unconsicious for 10 rounds; they must also save versus poison, or lose -2 to STR and DEX, in addition to -6 to CHA.

When equipped, the bearer's CHA is raised +6 when talking to females. There is a 40% chance however, that the baby will soil his diaper, in which case, the bearer's CHA is dropped by -6 instead.

ROFLMAO!! My god! That's hilarious! It would be awsome if you could use it though! *throws D. Diaper into group of Kobold Commando's, who immediately faint* LOLOLOL!!
But anyway, a friend of mine told me that if you wait sixty (real time) hours, the baby will be born.. Dunno if it's true though!!!!!
