I was wondering that too actually...It's kinda hard to believe Ribald left his precious Adventurers Mart for the 'exotic' weather in Icewind Dale. So is this just a mod/hack where someone plucked the poor chap from Athkatla and sent him packing to Targos?

Also in installing any of these mods, does it require a fresh installation OR a new game? If so I won't bother as im well into IWD2 at this stage.

P.S. Guinness? As in your from Eire or just like the drink?

As far as I know this is the official bonus merchant coming with the pre-order cd. The bonus merchant in Baldur's Gate II was selling stuff from Icewind Dale 1 and Torment. The one in Icewind Dale II sell stuff from Baldur's Gate II.

In the ease of use mod, you get the merchant from the Collector's Edition cd too.

Yes I agree us "urchins" can make some nice brews. Guinness tastes like blah tho - although the american guinness tastes a bit better. (don't ask)

Yes, the merchants are official, but this is not the official way to get them.

You used to get the bonus merchant when you preordered the game, and you got the other one when you bought the collector's version of the game.

I found HoF found silly -- just can't believe a 16th level fighter couldn't take down a goblin in 1 blow. But I wanted the items... So I've got a mod where you can play the game in non-HoF mode but all the items in the world are upgraded to their HoF counterparts (ie: The Golden Heart of is available in the Gallaway Depot).

I just don't have a place to host the file.
