What kind of 'net connection do you need for online playing, realistically? Broadband?

Is that what it was!???

Well it was great! I loved it! Totally huge and tonnes of other players all running around doing there thing... It is almost what i envisioned it could be before ever playing the game.

Went to the bar and a girl (at the least the character) was sitting at table there!!!! I sat down and she invited me into her party. Was pretty cool, chatted with her and her two other compatriots for a bit then went and killed some things...hehehe. We made a huge posse because of all the summoned thingies they had with them. I was playing default fighter. Hulk Smash!

Tancred i'd say broadband is realistic... But id also say thats what you need just for viewing html pages.. hehehe... dial-up is like 8-trackz.

I'm using broadband, but Davros is playing fine with dial-up 56k. Give it a go, you'll never know unless you try it. It also depends on the server - on massive ones with lots of people (like Dysotopia or Teknight which can have up to 30-50+ people online) it can sometimes slow down no matter what you're using. Give it a go.

In the social server area there is one called Palace of Letheryn. It is mostly people just hanging out roleplaying and telling stories...but its pretty cool as there is usually always twenty people there. Reminds me of the Prancing Pony or something..
