A couple of recommendations for those who are looking for new horror writers, both British.

Phil Rickman, has written several stand alone novels as well as a number of books about a character called Merrily Watkins, a sort of exorcist, but not really, you'd have to read 'em to know what I mean by that. He's one of the few authors I know who can write a huge book like The Man in the Moss, in which hardly anything happens, but still make it a damn good read.

Joe Donnelly, writes fairly claustrophobic novels, usually set in small communities in Scotland or Ireland...I'd recommend Shrike, Bane or The Shee...steer clear of Havock junction though, it's awful.

Epona you should try Phantoms, it is really a good one. And well we have had the bad designed books over here too, though a different label releadsed them with much better design

Thanks for the info Strider. Writers I have never heard of, will see if I can find someone of them!
