I ran through the first time with my lead character as an undead slayer and gave him Carsomyr and gave Crom Faeyr to a dwarf fighter. That was a nasty combo.
Try this option out: build a swashbuckler with proficiencies in club and flail. Dual class to a cleric at 13 level and then DUAL WIELD Crom Faeyr and the Flail of Ages! That is a NASTY combo! Add in proficiencies in mace and add the mace of disruption when fighting undead!

If you REALLY want Carsymor(sp?) without Keldorn, then either create (or dual to) a thief. Take him to a high-enough level to get the Special Abilities.
Choose "Use Any Item". NOW you have a thief with x5 Backstab damage wielding Carsymor!!! (uh....provided you can actually Backstab with a 2-hand sword. I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it would work, but it sure is fun to fantasize about).

PAH! A Level 7 Kensai with a simple longsword is better than a max-level xp-cap-removed Keldorn, or any Paladin, with that sword.
No... Not really... I'm just an Evil Kensai with brutally evil reputation-minimum party fan... Heheh. The evil path is so much more fun... Beggar: "Please give me 1 gold coin?" Me: "Nope." Me: *hits Beggar with big sword* Beggar: *explodes* Why would anyone want to play *good*?? Sometimes I kill Minsc in Irenicus' Dungeon... just for the sake of thinking of him being dead. Me, Vicky, Eddy and Korgan all the way! MUAHA!... I have issues.

Dont Forget Jan and Yoshi, they are great additions to making a full evil party. I have one now but only in chapter 3. Im curently trying a ToB party of all created characters.
lvl 21 Kensai dualed to a Mage lvl 9, Sucky now, but at 22... Cavalier w/ Carsomyr Monk w/ Girdle or FGS and the boxing gloves. Archer w/ some bow I found somewhere Orc Assassin with 19/18/19 Str/Con/Dex and thats nasty Illithid Killer and Anomen the Cocksure, that cocky cleric b/c i found out that a melee party with no cleric is expnsive and did not feel like making my own guy, call me lazy i guess
