85 regular hit, from kensai kit using..er..angurvadal? some long sword in any case.

I am soloing as a Bounty Hunter right now and it is quite difficult. Can't wait till I get more traps, but like Jerr said, the key is when to use them and I am having a tough time figuring that out.

Right now it is mostly Hide in Shadows, Backstab, Run, and Repeat. First Solo character where I have cheated and started the game with 100 potions of Extra Healing.

Level 15 and 48 potions to go, so it isn't that bad, but takes a LOT of time with all that running and hiding.

Gotta Trap more!

Jan did 70 backstab (x5)last night but I've only used him a handful of times. Valygar is my main backstab.

I haven't used traps much either. Jan has only 3. Sounds like you lay a lot of traps. How do get so many?

Set trap - sleep - Set trap - sleep - Set trap - sleep
It works, but is a bit dull if you ask me. Backstabbing mostly does the trick (my fighter/thief did 160 dmg once on lvl 13 with Blade of the Roses) unless you're fighting mist creatures or KuaToa, who can see you even hidden in shadows. And of course Dragons are immune to backstab. But killing Dragons with traps is even cheaper than to cloudkill them. Power up your party and be a company of brave Dragonslayers.

My thief...Bounty hunter off course actually suceeded in doing 115 dmg with the ordinary special snares to the first form of Kangaxx.
The dear old Kagaxx dropped as I backstabbed him (+5) with Belm and rashads taloon = 159 dmg. Ouch...actually I needed to pound him once with carsomyr+5 before he dropped and left me that little treasure of his

A better way to get more traps is to go to Records (where your stats are shown) - click on dual-class, as though you are going to dual-class your thief, then click cancel....you'll get your traps back, no need to sleep.

How do yuo get spike traps and those other types? Are they only in ToB?
