Hi Mark,
Been there and done all that before (the AGP driver thing). I totally failed to play more than 10 mins of Dungeon Siege (hold on, that's not true - I once got 14mins before total crash), and the eventual explanation I have come up with from extensive research and tweaking is that it is because : 1) If you have a VIA chipset it is recommended that you disconnect all devices before installing an OS (guess who once reformatted without doing that) 2) If you have a VIA chipset, AND a Diamond Monster soundcard, AND you didn't disconnect all devices before installing your OS, then it is gauranteed that you CANNOT play any Microsoft games (at least that is what Microsoft is telling me - so Age of Kings and Dungeon Siege gather dust in the corner) My system is only marginally above minimum spec for MW anyway, and I am so totally annoyed with this VIA crap that I'm gunna avoid them like the f***in plague. Holidays this week, upgrade computer the week after, and hopefully MW will be seen in OZ somewhere about then. Cheers my friend, and happy gaming.

Hi lethoso,
You forgot the other R the one FOR Microsoft support - Restrain yourself from grabbing their crappy game and taking it back around to them and........... RETURNING IT ![]() Good to see a fellow Queenslander on the boards. I will be back in the promised land myself on Sunday to watch the mighty Brisbane Lions smash Port Adelaide at the Gabba ![]() Glad to hear the game is working for you - how did you get a copy of MW? My sources are telling me a few more days to go yet.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
It's been a toss up between IWD2 that's out the end of the month or Morrowind III. Maybe I'll just have to get both. My system more than meets the min requirements so that won't be a problem. Thanks again Vixen

Getting both is always an option. Personally, I won't touch the BG or IWD series again. I completed BG1 and IWD1, but couldn't get into BG2. Even in multiplayer mode I couldn't stay playing it. Seemed like the same stuff over and over again.
I hesitated buying M&M9 but did anyways even knowing that Morrowind would take all my time. I also picked up Dungeon Siege, that one I only play multiplayer. This way I have 3 different RPG's to play depending on my mood, a single character, a party, and multiplayer. |

So is this game more like Mask of Eternity than BG/IWD? With 3D graphics. I found the charactic movements in that game difficult to get used to. There were so many different commands.

Mask of Eternity was an adventure game, and was mostly in 3rd person view, nothing much in common with Morrowind besides both having some sort of fantasy setting.
Commands and movement are not as complicated in Morrowind, are a lot more instinctive, but motion sickness can be an issue for some people.
