The expansion packs fill up the hard drive, and she complains that the computer is too slow and that I should delete some of my games on the computer. All the little expansion pack things that make the interface more complicated have gotten to the point where I am the only person in my family who can even understand it. I occasionally play mine that has been ruined by a cat who has 0-3 points in every pet stat. My little sister managed to get a cat with an average of six in every stat. My house is littered with vacation souvineirs that I like, but can't seem to find enough room for them all. The souvineirs include, but are not limited to, a boot, three coconut monkeys, two tiki idols, one of which was caused in an error. I just want the original sims game back, and for my sister to stay away from it.
If you have the expansions, you can both have your own neighborood.

She uses ALL the neighborhoods. I am lucky to have the two houses I do have. The other house I cheat with just to have something to do while I'm bored.

We only have five neighborhoods, but we have Sims Unleashed, which gives you a good portion of a town. It only changes the original neighborhood when I click the left and right buttons, though. I hardly ever play the sims anymore because of the cat I got and now my characters have "intrests" or something, and their intrests are nearly opposite. One hates things that are related to being social, and the other loves those. Now, there are different conversation topics, and different entertain things. My little sister is probably planning to buy an expansion pack now. If they create another expansion pack and it has rabbits, or upgrades the cats in any way, my little sister will talk about it nonstop until she buys it, no matter how bad it is. She wouldn't care if it crashed the computer every five seconds, as long as she could see the "bunny rabbit". The fact that Unleashed had cats was enough for my sister to want it. If they are making another expansion pack, I had better get to the gaming magazines before she does, since one of them will undoubtedly mention it.

Every sims title is selling like cup cakes. so it's not a suprise to see maxis trying to sell another expansion for the sims. I heard it's call " milking the cash cow "
