i found sarevok very challenging in bg1. actually what made it hard was that he had a mage that casts cloudkill and then the archer. tazok was easy, but id say he was mostly just cannon food so the mage can cast spells and sarevok can hit you.

And for all you who thinks that Jon is too easy, you should really buy ToB. Much more challenging bosses there, like Abazigal, Sendai etc. All those are IMO pretty much easier then Irenicus.

Just to spoil for those that havn't bought ToB: Irenicus is really the most powerful mage in the whole BG saga. Most of the bosses in ToB are powerful only because they have so many distracting side-creatures like demons.I kinda like Irenicus now that the story has ended really...
