China is a good neutral Country
They have not yet approved with the American counter actions as the chinese find them cruel and unjustified and they strongly oppose terrorism
Thus you have a neatral country
And the Netherlands are neutral too
But there are good reasons to find the Netherlands Subjective

Isn't this a moot point since Mr. Bush said NO to any kind of negotiations with the Taliban?

You're right, I'm not debating with you that this is the opportunity for peace but, like I said before, Bush cannot accept the offer. Let aside his personnal feeling and pride, here's why:

1- The US would appear weak in the face of the Muslim world because it said that it wouldn't negociate
2- The US cannot bring Bin Ladden to justice without an outcry in the Muslim world.
3- The US cannot allow Bin Ladden to live for the above 2 reasons. Since they cannot let him live, they have to find a way to make him die without him being in there custody.
4- The US has wrongfully labelled the Taliban as an ennemy (and they cannot back from that because of public issues)

That's why we are at war, so Bin Ladden can die without having the bloods on our hands. I know it sounds crazy but there is a great distinction in the world between dying in battle and being shoot during a trial.

You see, it all comes down to oil. The Arabs have it and we cannot produce enough to sustain our economy. So, we must find a way to remove Bin Ladden without plunging the Middle East into a bloodsheed and unfortunatly for the Afghans, they are the ones caught in the Middle and it so happens that their government is not well liked around the world (including the Middle-East). So, we can go to war with a relatively strong Middle-East support and kill Bin Ladden in the process.

Sorry, but geo-politically, the US cannot allow Bin Ladden to live and to be brought to justice. And so, we will stay at war until at least HE is dead.

Sorry, Switzerland is no longer considered a neutral country... eversince they froze Iraq's accounts during the Gulf war... that's when they took position.

What we need is a country that has no ties to either Bin Ladden and the US and there's not many of them

Not that it would make a difference because Bush will turn down the offer (if he hasn't already).

What??? Switzerland is no longer neutral????? What is the world coming to? To me, Switzerland was always the example of a neutral country! And they like it that way, I mean, they're not even in the EU - alone of Western Europe, I believe.
