It is believed that sexual acts plays an important part in their social bonding process. It is also notable that the collective aggression common amongst chimpanzees and humans is unknown in this very peaceful species. When someone's cat died, the whole family ritually shaved (or plucked, I don't remember) their eyebrows, as a symbol of sorrow.

Wow, I just read about these little guys at work tonight!( It was real slow, so read ) They we're thought to be Chimps for a long time, untill a biologist studied a skull at a museum and relised they are a different species. Very social and friendly to each other, unlike Chimps. And yes they have sex for pleasure. They also socialise with other bands for food, social, skill sharing, etc. This is called "reciprical altruism", where a species interacts with each other for "favors" of various reasons. Quite interesting.
