Thank you for the info guys, much appreciated. You know, people say they are different but it sounds very similiar to WoW in many ways save for the multiclassing aspect which makes room for fun re-rolling and reminds me of D&D once again.

Tell me, what are the specs as they appear on the game box? Upgrading my old dell with a new card isn't too simple atm since the power supply won't run it.

Very low, IMO, compared to some of the games today. And it hardly lags online too.

I just heard the max level is 20....is this true? Or is there something I am missing? In WoW the cap is 60 and I used to bitch about CoH having a cap of 50, lol. I don't think it would hold my interest long enough if this is the case. I can get a char to 20 in 2 days on most MMO's.

PS: I know someone said it above but it didn't actually 'click' that you cap your level at 20.

Yes, but there's so much to do after level 20 that you won't be disappointed. I mean, hell, some of the missions are hard enough, even when you're at level 20.

While the level cap in WoW is 60, the rate you gain experience is a lot better than in CoH. Also, depending on the guild you find and your play type, WoW probably offers a more rewarding endgame.

There are lots of things to do endgame, from what I've heard, although I'm on 42 and slowly getting there.

With the introduction of RP/PVP servers "soon" it means roleplayers, like me, can finally react to naked trolls dancing in your face, PVP off, while your trying to roleplay.

Although 3 hours in a queue for battlegrounds is ridiculous, and it only said 2 hours estimate.

IMO that's a pretty rubbish estimate.

Heh well at least WSG actually starts. After the second week of being available, we've only had one Alterac Valley instance open =\.

Yes, I've heard it's pretty inactive. Perhaps when realm forums are available then threads organising Alterac Valley will open.

Yeah, AV is actually pretty active on the weekends on my server but they are looking for ways to improve it still.

I think I will stick to WoW for now. In my view, there is alot of endgame content and 40 extra levels. This is not an "I told you so" line but the lack of levels (content) kinda finally explains why GW is free. I was trying to figure out how they were making it pay for itself. Not a bad thing of course, the fact that it is free still entises alot of people but me, I'm a bit hardcore when it comes to MMO's. GW sounds more of a casual-gamer MMO.

Most of you know I have been playing this game since Beta last year.
Lvl 20 Max level takes close to 400 hrs to get to and then your at the Half way point in the PvE part of the game. Atfer which you keep gaining experience points but not levels.
Instead of 40 and 50,000 per Level to gain a level and 1 skill point, after level 20 it takes only 20,000 points you gain a "Skill" point that lets you then buy another Skillbut your at level 20 until the expansion in december.
Buy level 20 I had close to 70 skills and since then I have gained over 500,000 more EX points points and another 63 Skills and more to come. so Leveling ends but the important part SKILLS keep growing. This isn't Balduers Gate thats bfor sure and I loved BG its a whole new Idea in Game points and it works very very well.

I have finally after playing 5 hrs every night and 12 hrs every sat & sun for three weeks last night my second PC reached level 20 and I still have a long way to go in developeing him.

remember Neverwinter Nights well leveling there was easy as falling off a chair compaired to leveling in GW.

Your never going to level to 20 in a week I dont care who you are. Unless you stay awake 24/7 and never get out of your seat or stop to eat or do anything else It just isn't possiable.
