Erm..must be you. And are you really keeping track of every post i make ? Now that's really disturbing, no ? Wouldn't it be easier to just ignore me if i'm that much of a problem for your fragile little mind ?

By the way Jorath, you can leave offline messages on msn. If you download msn plus you just click on the person once, click on display contact on desktop, then right click and click leave a message to contact. Simple

MSN plus was full of spyware last time I checked or was it one of the other strange unofficial versions my sisters keep on installing. :/

I really hate msn, it has some nice feature, like the handdrawing, which I love... the file sharing is also much safer it seems than in ICQ and the avatars are fun... although the smilies are pretty awful (like in icq). but why can't you send offline messages like in Icq... or at least a message when the other is away... and the worst is, when I log in I have to type in my infernal password about 10 time until it finally makes an attempt to connect... really annoying.
Your pros outweigh the cons, don't they?

Anyway, in regards to what you mentioned you do not like, I have to say that I can send offline messages, I do not ever have to enter my password before signing in, it generally takes only about 2-4 seconds to get online, and you certainly can send messages when the other person is set to away mode. If they appear to not be online, the message goes to e-mail instead of a chat screen. No big deal with anyone I chat with.

The funny thing I find with this thread is that you say MSN sucks, but then you give them credit for being better at safer file sharing than ICQ.

You are given the option to download it, and you can say "no" to the request. Your sister seems to be a smart person.

Well Larry, I know I contradict myself a bit... but I wrote it at 3 am last night with few beers in me... but to me the problems with MSN are somehow more irritating. Like not being able to log in painlessly... (which seems to be only a trouble for me).

Friend sent it to me, so why not? Luckily she doesn't do this with things she doesn't know. Then the only thing she will click on is the cross the close. Had a lot of trouble with that and the firewall as well But well, what can you do about it.

Heh, so was i. I've been experimenting with posting without the grinning smilie, and every time i leave it out, people get the idea i'm serious all of a sudden. I guess i brought this on myself. So just to be on the safe side...
