LOL you believe in ghosts and aliens etc but not God? But what are ghosts if not people's spirits/souls and souls come from God or at least there'd be no sense in having them without a God, so to me, it sounds like it'd make more sense to believe in both or neither.

As for ghosts, well I suppose in theory it is possible to have random spirits wondering around, I guess I have to say this if I believe in souls, but why they'd want to wonder around on Earth is a mystery

*still doesn't know whether to laugh or what at the irony of believing in all supernatural things except God*

Spirits and souls don't have to come from God. They do in the Christian religion, but many Pagan religions only have spirits to worship, no gods at all.

Exactly what Callum said. I don't believe God exists, and that he gives life to all things, but I believe in the human spirit that lives on after a person died. I didn't say I believe in all supernatural things, and God is definetly not one of them.

I wasn't questioning whether you believed in all supernatural things or not, I was questioning the rationale behind believing in some and not others.

So, by your reasoning, you are either completely superstitious, or don't believe in anything at all? Personal beliefs are not Happy Meals.

In Christianity, spirits are not spirits or souls of man, but plain demons. Souls are not allowed to have contact with the living.
I believe Vaskez is not generalising anything in particular, but questions the motivation. It's not "everything" or "nothing" as a concept, but the way that concept is reached. After all, in my humble opinion, supernatural things are all closely related, so believing in God and not in the apparation of spirits/ghosts is in itself worthy of questioning.
My apologies. I am not a Christian. But I'm sure that my point still holds
