I think what is happening is that one of the Baldurdash remixes is giving you the capability to have multiple strongholds. After I installed the latest one I wound up with the Druid Grove, The Theatre, The Ranger's Cabin in the Umar Hills, the Thieves Stronghold, and even was offered a chance to be an 'honorable' Pallidin. And my character is a figher/mage.

If it is the result of installing the Baldurdash Remix, I will jump with glee and gloat. Okay, okay... I won't. Seriously though, if this is really the case, then I will feel vindicated for preferring the Original Baldurdash. After all... you are not supposed to have more bugs after installing a patch.
And if it is because the person 'accidentally' installed a cheat, then I will feel even more vindicated. |

It actually became funny to have all those strongholds. There were occasions when I had someone from Nalia's keep plus Delen from Umar Hills plus the actors from my playhouse all yelling for attention simultaneously! Led me wondering when I was ever gonna have time to do the games major quests! And I didn't WANT the playhouse or cabin but they still kept after me anyway.

Maybe. . . so, I'll alert everyone . . . ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ If anyone figures out how this is occurring, please let me know. I'm playing a dual fighter/thief and got D'Arnise, but would like Mae'Var's guild as well. I know the trick about not accepting one and then doing the other, but I'm way past that point now and think I won't be replaying this incarnation of "our hero" again, as so many other permutations merit attention.
