I know. I used that method before to learn other languages (Read the book in a language I know first and then in the one I'm learning). I plan on doing that. Problem is it's very difficult finding books in Croatian here .

You speak Polish and Arabic? Good, that will make learning Croatian much easier, as these two are complicated. I don't really know how they compare to each other. The grammar is the harder part, not the pronounciation.
