Yes he was one of the first "contestants" on American Idol, the ones they show in the beginning of the series so people can make fun of them cause they sing so horribly. William Hung somehow got popular because of his horrible singing, and is still raking in money apparently in live concerts during his extended 15 minutes of fame he's got going on. Why? I have no idea except to say there are idiots in this world aplenty.
