I do, but it is more like lengthy daydreams.

I don't, but I often have a discussion with my friend Bob here. *Points at the empty chair next to him*

Yes, all the time. Though, like Epona, inner dialogues rather than monologues, a la Shakespeare . And then just general chatting with myself, like when I'm driving I'll make humourous observations to myself (well, I think they're funny, and since I'm making them to amuse myself, it works out well ). And often I will berate myself out loud if I do something silly, like stub my toe or forget something or such.

I do rarely, things that what Hivetyrant said, saying to yourself where you just had something if you've lost something etc.
Also if something is bothering me I'll kind of talk to myself about it. (So what, I'm a nutter )
This is kind of the same thing. I was on MSN and the phone at the same, I typed what I meant to speak and spoke what I meant to type .

The vast majority of my relatively few monologues tend to be rhetorical questions interspersed with self-criticism.

I also sub-vocalize on the rare occasions that I cannot avoid doing math-related problems.

I'm always having discussions with myself. It's fun because I always win the argument!
