Although I answered "no" & "no", there are exceptions. Like we all know johnny & cloudy are spammers . Amongst others.

It suprises me that some people post to remark that their avatar has changed. I think I will post whenever my post count increases.

I have to mention the avatar change (though I usually just mention it in an edit, or what-not), cause they're pretty!! Yes, I just said "pretty." Why? Because its three o'clock in the damn morning, and I'm feeling stupid! Mah!
BTW, thanks for introducing me to the word "mah," LZ!

I answered no and no, but if my avatar changes I'll edit the post where it changed with something like:
[Edit] New avatar, oooooo *avatar name here*

I don't think it does, but the people with higher post counts obviously usually post more (unless they have turned into lurkers) and are sometimes recognized more since they have been around longer etc.

People get reknowned for things, I mean Andrewas mr. tech support (along with others) and Stormy mrs. chatterbox, and mrs. Cloudy the gossip

And then there is that Johnny, jees, what a drunken stoner he is
