Usually known as seaglass. My boss used to collect it and has found pieces over 100 years old.

Hey! I found a shard of glass too that I thought was a rock. It was smoothed over and had no appearances of glass but when I was told it was glass, I just tossed it in the trash. Should I go dig it out?

Glad you and your family had a good time Larry. I've been to the Outer Banks many times, and yeah the surf sometimes can be pretty rough, so I can see MaryBeth not being so fond of it, at her weight those waves just toss you around like so much seaweed LOL. And of course this time of year it can be stormy and that affects the waves as well, same as full moons.

And I'm not surprised that your restaurant wasn't all that great. I find when I go there it is the places that are not the highest recommended (like in those AAA vacation guides) that are actually better re quality. Few years back we went to one (can't recall the name of the place) and the soda had salt water in it (don't ask, don't know, but was yuck and the food was not bad, but mediocre).

There are a lot of good shells and shell pieces to be found there too yep, I like myself to collect all the ones that have purple on them LOL. I have an entire glass vase full of them now.

So I see you decided not to travel to Dirty Dicks for a meal LOL?

Again, glad yall had a good time, despite the toilet weirdness LOL.
