I think I'll go for not suck. I do not care much for it myself, but I recognize that this is just a personal and possibly misinformed opinion. And it does have exeptions. I still like Totoro.

Back as a child I enjoyed Pokemon (the games on gameboy were awesome!) but I think as, at the time, it was new and different. Now I'm of the opinion that it's not my cup of tea
