I was thinking about asking my parents for one for Christmas, but I'm not going to have that many songs I would actually listen to. I'd be skipping all the rubbish songs before I got to one I like.
So I got a MP3 player with a removable memory card. It came with a 32mb one, but I'm looking to get a 256 or 512 (are they the right sizes?) memory card instead. IMHO they are better than iPods, unless you have a LOT of music you really like to listen to.

Yeh 256 and 512 are available, 1024 is also available.
Mmm, I dunno about that. I also own a memory based player, and they are ok, but they don't have the finesse of a 60gb Creatvie Nomad Xen Xtra Also, 32mb card can only hold about 10 songs, surely you have more than that? I currenlty have about 5000 songs, all of which I like and listen to. I also like having lots of spare space as I know my collection is constantly growing. You can also store files on it too, and it is very good for transfering large files (gbs) over from one of my computers to another, it is a very handy tool aswell as a music player! Nice sig btw!

Well I change what songs I like too much. After a few weeks I'll skip that song and listen to something else, unless the song is fantastic
*cough*The Clash - Rock the Casbah *cough* 512mb or 1024 would do me fine, as I don't have that many MP3s anyway, I use Napster (play music straight off Napster, £10 a month, £0.99p to download a track). My dad pays so the money doens't bother me

Well, to those who have been following the ups and downs, the highs and lows, the pinnacles and troughs, of my decision of which player to choose. I have finally decided. *drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtshhh* (That was a drum roll btw, followed by a cymbal crash)
The Zen Touch! Thank you for playing! Now to leave a subtle hint, in the form of an "accidentally misplaced note", that for no apparent reason I typed up, printed out, with details of what to search for on Amazon. Wish me luck!
