I think I may have found the perfect "partner" for Daystar, Kestrel.
SPOILER ALERT * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Since you have a proficiency in bastard sword, I suggest you go to Watcher's Keep. On the FIRST level, you can find a bastard sword called Foebane. It has a standard +3 bonus (very nice for Chapter 2), but is +6 vs undead (along with shapeshifters and all other-planar creatures). A very nice sword that is easily obtainable AND upgradeable later in the game.

That is a good sword yeah, but as was mentioned earlier... Blackrazor!!
Tis a very good sword to be sure, and if you are neutral, then the good and evil sword will do nicely together. Im a fan of Blackrazor though so y'know, I am rather biased. J i m m y p.s. Love your new signature Kestral

Blackrazor is a nice sword, but it takes a long time to get it (unless you cheat it in). He could get Foebane immediately.

Which sword is a nicer sword? Blackrazor or Foebane? I mean, Kestral could use Foebane till he is able to aquire Blackrazor and then, depending on which is better, he could swap Foebane for Blackrazor, or just keep on using Foebane.
I personally have often CLUAed in Blackrazor before, and then when it came round to aquiring Blackrazor the proper way I just left it on the ground (so as to not have two, then I would class that as cheating). Its a bit of a personal preference though CLUA, if you want to be a purist gamer who doesnt cheat at all then dont even think of CLUAering in Blackrazor. If not, then go ahead. To each his own. Which is better though? Blackrazor or Foebane? J i m m y [ 01-14-2005, 07:58 AM: Message edited by: Jimmy Joe Jamboree ]

Ok, I solved my dilemma:
After downloading IEEP in order to solve another problem I had (from another thread), I decide to tinker about with it for a while. I got to grips with the layout and thought 'what the heck?'. I couldn't resist making a personal weapon and so a new sword was born: Nightstar, the evil counterpart of Daystar. It compliments my true neutral alignment, two swords; One good, one evil and is a pretty nifty sword. I didn't want to make it too beefed up or else it would make the game too easy so I resisted my urges to make a doomsday weapon. Thanks for all your help guys, I did go and get Foebane and is now in the trusty hands of Keto, my leading lady. So not all your input was in vain. Thanks alot --Kestrel--
