Yeah, Trollbark is pretty nasty too. But there's more than implosion to get you there. How come those Lizard Realm Arrows of Quick Death only work on PC's? And then, only if fired by the lizards themselves? As to the protection from spells potions, they have a lvl limit, and once they absorb that they are done. Better to have a couple of quickslots dedicated to them.
Congrats to Sir Anthony on his victory, and too bad about Muriel being broke. Now you know why she's so mad... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Hey, I have noticed something interesting recently. You know that wonderful little spell, Finger Of Death? Cast it enough times at a dragon while also casting Mordenkainen's Disjunction, and it will eventually work! Sure, it may be an expensive way to kill a dragon, but I have found it most satisfying. MUAHAHAHAHAHA...

Went into the gauntlet this evening. Got serverely assaulted by more monsters than I've ever seen in there. Has someone been stirring them up?
Muriel took a while to kill off. Once she has expended her spells she no longer hits back and lower level characters can only hit on a 20 roll. Not sure if that is intentional (Muriel not hitting back) or if it the new hakpak will change it. |

Speaking of tough cookies...
I came accross this "Gaseous Form" on the fourth level...  None of my weapons can scratch it; it is immune to spells from magic missle to hellball... has anyone been able to hurt it?

He's evidently a part of the plot, or will be. I haven't been able to do anything to him, even with a high lvl cleric trying to turn him.

I ran into your anthracite cookie gaseous form the other day. It didn't attack me, but neither did it fall to the myriad pointy things I thrust its way. It must be a project that Ziroc is working on and doesn't want it to interact with us yet.
