I have heard that Saruman will die in the Two Towers. Thus making the Scouring of the Shire impossible

The Scouring of the Shire is one of the best parts of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I have heard that it will not be in the movie
sounds like just a rumor.the scouring of the shire is one of the most important parts of the lotr.it basically shows that no one is safe from evil.

There are four key sequences I was looking for in a Lord of the Rings film or films, four things that make up the heart of the book as an epic. The first, Lothlorien, is its' spiritual centre. Jackson has already edited it to nothing, damn him.
The other three are the charge of the Rohirrim, as the book's key heroic battle; Gollum's death, as proof of the irony of fate; and the Scouring of the Shire, as the nastily down-to-earth finale. If Jackson can get these three sequences 'right', in my mind, I'll forgive anything.

Mind you, I saw the Two Towers preview trailer. Great looking stuff, more Arwen (as I predicted), Gandalf the White looking very white. Aragorn turning from tramp to hero. Armies of Uruk-Hai. And Gollum! Looks cool!

Just a question.
What will be Arwen's role in the second film?
