Of novels published in the last 6 years or so, I give the nod to "To Say Nothing of the Dog" by Connie Willis. Time travel, chaos theory, mystery, romance, drama, extensive historical and literary allusions, and satire. Humorous and intricately woven.

Isaac Asimov- Every single Foundation book written and partially written by himself. None of those "other" Foundation writers for me.
