The draco men quickly splited, leaving two most slender built warrior fighting the thing, while the rest were gone after the group.

The thing: "PERISH, COWARDS"

"WOOOO!!"
"ARGGGHHHHH!!!"
"TASTE MY MIGHT!!!"
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
"DONT RUN Y... AAACCCK!"

(this is technologically how it was done...)
The thing soon lost its advantage. It seemed that the draco-humanoids were skilled at fighting it. One warrior entered the thing's attacking range, and leaped out as soon as the thing struck down. Because of the long recovering time, the thing was left widely open, and the other then guard took the chance and struck several powerful blows on the thing's torso. The process went on and on, the two guards repeatedly switching roles, one attack while one distract. Quickly, the sandworm was woren off...

The draco-humans dropped their halberds and drew crossbows, pointing them at Logél, "Dismount the gryphon and come with us or we shall kill you." the leader of the dracos said.

Meanwhile, T'Shen had entered the tower and was exploring the 1st floor, it didn't contain anything more interesting than guardrooms, so he went up the stairs...

It didn't take Logèl long to decide his next action. Everyone died at some point during their lives. Logèl figured he wanted to live a little longer.

"Yo, dragondudes, thanks for savin' my butt back there. You wanna, like, join me for pizza or something?

Whoa, easy with the weapons now.

Say have you seen that series of moving pictures called 'Big ugly purple monster wrecks surftown'? Its like..."

As Logèl was brought to another door and pushed into the building, he suddenly wondered what had happened to the other two thieves. He didn't recall seeing them enter, and the lizardboys obviously hadn't seen them either. Probably fell down into the worm's tunnels, he thought.

Laying there, battered and beaten, the thing breathed heavily.

"now... th...that... was another meal gone for good" the thing spat, if such functionaility is possible for its skull's structure, and struggled on his feet or stomach... whatever

"curse you!!" the thing roared angrily towards the tower, his shoutings dismissed quickly as the cold wind carried it into distance

standing (or laying) alone in the vast desert, the thing muttered a helpless sound. It was such animal nature, yet closely resembled the moarn of a bitter man, angry at his unresponsible mentor, or even mixed with a slight hatred to fate...

"Tyr... why did you abandon me?"

OOC: looks like it will be a while before the Thing will make an appearance again. I will check out this thread every once a while [img]smile.gif[/img] in the mean while, people go check out my thread: the lurking things.

T'Shen could hear the guards returning with someone, from the sound of it it was Logél, the thief ran up the stairs quickly and found himself in a large laboratory. It was filled with glasswares and rare ingredients, multi-coloured liquids bubbled in glass containers and strange beasts moved restlessly about in their cages near one wall.

He snuck silently among the tables and cages, no sign of anyone, anywhere, in one corner, another staircase, leading up, strange sounds emanated therefrom, was his prize there?
