Anyone know how many sim days it takes for a baby to become a toddler? I suppose if they're still an infant (and unselectable) you can't feed them that smart milk, right?

Thanks mate. And moving on from that, how do I make my baby grow up? I had a birthday party but nothing happened - was I supposed to do something?

Just take care of the baby, feed him , clean him, play with him and cuddle him. 3 days later there'll be a message about birthday party where you need to prepare a birthday cake ( the party is not needed but you MUST have the cake ). Your baby will then turn into a toddler.

Yes, you need a birthday cake. Then you take the baby over to see the cake, and it turns into a toddler right before your very eyes!

Okay, in my family with a teenager, I invited the private school headmaster over. And his car showed up, and I got a message saying here he was, give him a tour of the house and then serve dinner. But immediately after that I got another message saying we weren't suitable at all and his car drove off - he hadn't even got out the car! What's going on there? Another curious thing is that my teenager has a fear of being rejected from a private school, which is essentially what happened, but she didn't lose any aspiration points or have the fulfillment of that fear acknowledged at all. As if the entire episode hadn't happened!

Also, what is with all the clothes for female elders? Why is there such a concentration of skank gear for oldies?

I suspect that it was a time issue with the Headmaster.

I won't comment on the skank outfits for elders.

Before you invite the headmaster there's a lot of preperation you need to make.

Call him in the morning ( so that you'll get plenty of time to prepare ) . Then, make sure every room has the highest environment score, even the outside. Make sure also everything is clean. Then, dress all of your sims in formal clothing. Also, make sure their hygiene is full. Then when 4:00pm rolls around, cook both turkey and Baked Alaska. Serve enough TURKEY for everyone in the family and for the headmaster. For now, leave the Baked Alaska on a counter.By the time dinner is ready, the headmaster will come. (5:00pm always) You will need to get 90 points .Have a sim go out and great him. Once, you have greeted him, DO NOT talk to him yet. Instead invite him to dinner. Walk over and have dinner with him and your family. Let him eat all of it. Next, have a sim serve the Baked Alaska. Have him eat it all.Now it is time to give him a tour of the house.

Note : if you still haven't enough points. try talking to him. Make sure the sim that talk to him got a high charisma point.

Yeah, elders clothing are kinda dull in the game. you'll need to go into few sims2 sites and download some clothings.

Thanks for that detailed info, Kakero . However, at 4pm, my sims can only serve lunch, not dinner.

I'm not sure what you mean by a time issue, Riftmaker.

As a time issue, I'm thinking that maybe he arrived too late?
