You're renowned for having an outdated quote in your sig... unless my eyesight's really degenerated over the last forty-eight hours, that sure as hell ain't Edwina, with or without an attitude.

I voted no and no. The only exception (it's never happened here, but I'm a message board ho -- mostly on baseball), but the only people I don't automatically respect (at least enough to read their posts and reflect on them) are those people who are starting trouble with only one or two posts under their belt. 999 out of 1000 of these are alternate user names used to say stuff that the person hiding behind it is too afraid to say under their own name.

A pet peeve of mine is horrible spelling, and l33t crap. We're in a medium here where the written word is the only form of communication, and you're just making yourself look like an ass by typing things that way.

While I'm up on this soapbox, I'm going to voice my displeasure at the avatars that are chosen for us. I think when people can choose their own avatars (with a size limit, of course), it adds an element of individuality.

[/soapbox]

Nah, that's not the point. I'd prefer no image, to be honest.

I don't even know what a quintesson is, or a zhentarim guard, nor do I really care. I know it will tell me in the FAQ, and I have looked at it, but it just doesn't feel right to me.

It's not a big deal by any stretch of the imagination, just a little peeve of mine.
